Genclerbirligi and Galatasaray produced a 6 goal thriller on Friday night in Ankara as both teams shared the points in a 3-3 draw. A decent crowd turned up at the 19 Mayis stadium as Galatasaray looked to extend their lead at the top.

It was Gencler who got off to the better start as they took the lead, excellent play down the left from Tosic who found Azofeifa and the Costa Rican shot past Muslera to make it 1-0 Gencler. It was end to end stuff with both teams having chances but it was Gala who scored next. Former Ankaragucu striker Umut Bulut showed why he is so highly thought of with yet another goal to make it 1-1.

Galatasaray extended their lead on 58 minutes when Johan Elmander smashed and unstoppable shot into the top corner giving Ramazan no chance in the Gencler goal. Ten minutes later and Gencler scored two goals in a minute, first a header through Aykut Demir, and then a deflected shot through Jimmy Durmaz who made it 3-2.

Gencler looked to be heading for the win but for a late striker from Hakan Balta to make it 3-3. A draw was a fair result and Galatasaray continue to look vulnerable at the back while excellent going forward.

Orduspor and Elazigspor shared the points in Ordu with a 2-2 draw. The visitors Elazig were 2-0 up through a Julien Faubert after he got on the end of an excellent Aydin Karabulut cross. Yedek scored the second with an excellent goal from just outside the box. Orduspor have a lot of quality about them though and fought back with goals from Caliskan and a Bogdan Stancu penalty to make it 2-2.

Bursaspor and Fenerbahce drew 1-1 in Bursa. It was the home side who took the lead when Serdar Kesimel put the ball into his own net after a good counter attack from Bursa. Moussa Sow equalised with an excellent header giving Scott Carson no chance in the Bursa goal.

Antalyaspor have built a very exciting attacking side and now sit 2nd in the league. An impressive 4-2 win at home to Sivasspor gave them the three points. Goals from Ismael Aissati, Lamine Diarra and a double from Isaac Promise were to much for Sivas who scored through Kamil Grosicki and Michael Eneramo.

After a slow start to the season Eskisehirspor are starting to come good. A 5-2 win at home to Karabukspor gave them the three points. It didn't start well though as Ilhan Parlak gave Karabuk an early lead. Goals from Necati Ates, Alper Potuk, Pawel Malecki and a double from Diomansy Kamara saw Eskisehirspor go 5-1 up before a late consolation goal from Ozek made it 5-2.

Kasimpasa came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home to Mersin. Mert Nobre and Mustafa Keceli put Mersin 2-0 up and looked like they would be heading back home with the three points. Two goals in the last minute from Viudez and Buyuk gave Kasimpasa a share of the points.

Two games tonight as Akhisar host Gaziantepspor and in the other game Besiktas are at home to Trabzonspor.
